My sincere condolences to the family of Harold Shipp. I was out of the country when Harold passed away and regret not being able to attend his funeral. Harold was a valued long-time former client and I will miss his wit, humour and joie de vivre. Sincerely, Catherine Roberts

Harold G. Shipp,
“The majority of us lead quiet, unheralded lives as we pass through this world. There will most likely be no ticker-tape parades for us, no monuments created in our honor. But that does not lessen our possible impact, for there are scores of people waiting for someone just like us to come along; people who will appreciate our compassion, our unique talents. Someone who will live a happier life merely because we took the time to share what we had to give. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have a potential to turn a life around. It's overwhelming to consider the continuous opportunities there are to make our love felt.” ? Leo Buscaglia......... Time has no meaning in itself unless we choose to give it meaning. It has been one of the most interesting and unusual twenty-one years.
Thank you. Angela

September 12, 2014
On behalf of the Seager family, we send our condolences on the passing of Harold. He was well-known to our family, going back to when he and our mom (Marcia Joyce, now deceased) were high school sweethearts. He was kind and generous in always remembering our mother's leap year birthday. May he rest in peace and may all the extended Shipp family members take comfort in the legacy of community service left by your husband, father and grandfather and great- grandfather.

Vicky - I am sure you do not remember me but your family has always been a great memory of mine. We went to school together at Riverside and you invited me to your birthday party. My Mom and Dad met at the Mississauga Golf and Country Club and we used to watch your Mom and Dad arrive at the First United Church in Port Credit in the Caddy (top usually down). Your Mom's hats were the always the envy of my Mom who created many "knock offs". My first house in 1977 was a Shipp in Applewood. Just wanted you to know the impact of your family on me growing up. Your Dad was one of a kind and Mississauga will surely miss him. Thanks to him for all he did and may be rest in peace.
