"Coach" Thomas was my teacher and basketball coach at Fairbanks grade school in the early 70's. I'm thankful to have known him and grateful for the positive influence he had on my life.

Harold Thomas was a wonderful Government/History and Econ. teacher. I credit him for my love of history, the U.S. government and politics. He made me want to learn more. He was kind and compassionate. I hope I'm the kind of teacher he was!

Harold was a great man who will be missed by the entire community. He had such an impact on my life. I met him at church camp, he later became my pastor, and he even managed to be there for me after I moved away. He has buried my family and friends, but I can't imagine who it is that could eulogize him properly. I am so sorry for your loss. He is not gone, he just went to be with God.

Harold Thomas played a part in all the major events of my family. He's married us and buried us for as long as I can remember. Who is left to eulogize him properly? While we'll mourn his passing, I have to beleive that he and my father are having a great time right now. If they were right all these years, they've said hello to God and are together as young men, free of all pain and worry. I hope they were right.

I was a junior is high school when Harold started teaching at Jasonville High School. He was a fair and honest teacher. I have heard him preach many times. He is leaving behind such a great legacy. "Only one life, will soon be past, Only what has been done for Christ will last." I'm sure many people have been saved due to the sermons from Harold. My sympathy to Betty,Tom and Dave

Betty, Tim and David:
We cannot completely express how much Harold meant to the both of us. He was truly one of the finest men of God, and we admired, honored, and loved him deeply. Besides Janice knowing him her entire life, and after he married us, and then married our daughter Jamie to Jeremy, he became one of the finest friends that I could ever have hoped to have. He was always there for any of our family, and we shared many a good time with him. I don’t think that he ever met a stranger and was always the first one there in a time of need. We will never forget him coming back from his vacation, to preach our sons funeral, it meant a lot to the both of us. We have no doubts that he is walking hand in hand with our Savior on those streets of gold, and has received every crown and reward for the great work of God that he devoted his life to. His presence will be greatly missed not only in the church but in the community. Jasonville and the surrounding area have lost a great man. We all look forward to the day that we will all be together once again. God Bless you all and your in our prayers..
