I was so sorry to hear about Harriet's passing. I met Harriet and Michael when I moved in to their building in White Plains.
They were both very caring and wonderful people. We shared wonderful jazz sessions in White Plains while they lived here.
She will be missed by her family and friends.
My deepest condolences to Michael, Danielle and her grandchildren and so -in-law.

What a model of strength and love! Harriet was my supervisor at Euphrasian Residence and always was astutely informative and supportive. She was pregnant and gave birth to Danielle during my tenure there. I remember her as glowing through her pregnancy and calling Danielle "Daniellie" once she was born. We kept in touch as I moved on and always remained friends. She was thrilled when Danielle got married and adored her grandchildren. She absolutely was one of the most kind, brilliant, compassionate people in my life. The news of her illness was a shock and her swift passing is devastating. Thank you, Danielle for holding a Remembrance Service for your amazing mother. It was an honor for me to be her colleague and friend.

So very sad to read this news. I admired and respected Harriet. She was strong and brave and a good person. I only knew her for a short time but she was someone I will always remember for her kindness and honesty. So sorry to Michael and Danielle and her beautiful family.

Harriet was a cherished member of CCC´s Advocacy Council and a tireless advocate for children and families. For nearly a decade, she devoted her time, wisdom, and incredible spirit to our YouthAction program-mentoring young leaders, supporting staff, and inspiring everyone around her with her warmth, humor, and unwavering belief in young people.
Her legacy lives on in the generations of advocates she helped shape and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, insight, and compassion. We will miss her dearly and hold her memory close as we continue the work she cared so deeply about.
