I wish that I had been able to know Harriet longer. I met her several years ago here in Greensboro and worked with her in Newcomers Club. I loved her sense of humor, her intelligence, her perseverence and her strong devotion to her family. I admired her courage and strength in fighting her illness. I will miss her.
My deepest condolence to all of her family.

Anne and I send our deepest condolences to Beth and Joey and their families. Harriet was a wonderful woman. She was so devoted to her family, and extended her kindnesses to everyone with whom she interacted. My parents, Harriet's Uncle Hal and Aunt Helen, adored her as she adored them, and she was as much a part of our immediate family as my sister Jenna and me. We will have fond memories of Harriet's quirky eating habits and how she ordered food at restaurants; her unabashed joy in talking about the grandchildren; and her genuine love and unconditional regard for everyone in the Mindich-Weiss-Krakower-Stewart families. God Bless Harriet always.

When I think of Harriet, the first word that comes to mind is independent. The second is STRONG. Harriet was a strong, independent woman~Strong-minded, passionate about what she believed was right, loved her family with all her heart, and a FIGHTER when she needed to fight. Now she can have eternal rest, and I will hold so many memories of our years together as family. She will be missed.

I can't even begin to tell you how very sorry I am to hear of your mom's passing. I've known Harriet for 10 years. She was an inspiration to me and countless others that had the fortune of hearing her words of wisdom and encouragement. She was a beautiful inside and out. How much richer my life was knowing her. I hope you find comfort from your own memories and words from those she has touched.
