I had the priviledge of working with Dr. Rogers in surgery at Piedmont Hospital from 1978 until his retirement. I was honored to be called "nurse" by him! He would listen to staff concerns and issues and work with them to make things right. My sympathy to his family.

Mrs. Rogers and family
The nurses at GMCF GAPP program really enjoyed working with Dr. Rogers. He was a precious jewel. I am glad I had a change to meet and work with him. Sandra Blue (GAPP Review Nurse GMCF)

Dear Mrs. Rogers and Family

My father, Ben Thebaut, Sr., practiced with Jack for many years. Jack saw him through a long, serious illness, and preserved his Surgery practice until he could return to work.

It was my privilege to have known him through my medial school and residency years, and afterwards when I practiced with my father.

His passion, devotion and service to his profession have inspired me for forty years.

Though I have not seen him in many years, Jack was my friend. He will be sorely missed.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

It was back in the 70's and Dr. Rogers operated on me and I have considered him to be my friend. My condolances to his family for his passing. God bless you.

Dear Jean,
Sara and I join you and Jack's many friends in mourning his passing.
For years I served with Jack on the Issues Committee of First Presbytherian Church, and that work joined me with him in friendship from which I greatly benefitted. Only those who have served on such a provocative committee can understand the divisive issues confronting its members. Yet, in dealing with those issues it was inspirational to observe Jack's reactions. He would defend his position, but never demean or ridicule the person with whom he differed. He was a gentleman in every respect.
I have treasured Jack's friendship, and am a better person for having worked alongside him.

Dr. Rogers was a very patient, kind, and supportive individual. His presence and wonderful spirit will greatly be missed from the Fulton County Board of Health.

For God shall wipe all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelations 21:4

Dear Jean and The Family: Jack meant more to his world than the next 1,000,000 of us could ever hope to mean. Wouldn't we love to listen in when Jack gets up there with Frank Wilson and they bring one another up to date? Bless him. Spencer and Nancy
