AH LOY JR.
Age 69, of Ewa Beach, Oahu, passed away July 20, 2009 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital. Born March 31, 1940 in Wailuku, Maui. Retired Foreman for Hawaiian Dredging Electric Company Kahe Power Plant; also member of Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Council #12045.
He is survived by wife, B.J. "Johnnie" Ah Loy; son, David (Meike) Ah Loy of Germany; stepsons, Harry J. Oneha Jr., Clifford M. Oneha, Denton Freitas, Dominic Freitas; daughters, Darleen "Lei" (Tyler Hulterstrum) Ah Loy of Molokai, Chantelle (Chuck) Drumeller, Kehau "Darilyn" (Jackson) Ah Loy; brothers, Francis (Doris) Ah Loy, Mervin (Sophie) Ah Loy, Calvin (Kitty) Ah Loy of Maui, Shoji Taira of Japan; brother-in-law, Alfred (Nancy) Johnson; sisters, Kaui Mathias, Puanani (Tada) Holani, Naomi (Dexter) Freitas; sister-in-law, Harriet (Ken) Osumi-Snow; 13 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Visitation 9:00 AM Saturday (August 8) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (91-1004 Renton Rd., Ewa Beach). Eulogy: 10:45 AM Mass: 11:00 AM. Celebration of Life to Follow. Aloha Attire. Potted Flowers Preferred.
