Harry Broadbent died peacefully, in his sleep at his childhood home in Mirfield, England, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, with his father lovingly by his side. He was 37 years old, having bravely fought a brain tumour illness for 12 years. He will be greatly missed by many, most especially his two sons, Harry and Alex, his father, Simon, his wife, Michaelagh and his two brothers, Tom and William.
Harry will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour, wit, kindness and love. Though his life was short, his impact was immense, and he leaves an unforgettable legacy.
A funeral service to honour Harry and celebrate his life will take place on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 11.15 am, at St Mary's Parish Church, Church Lane, Mirfield, WF14 9HX. The family requests attendees follow the COVID guidelines prevailing at the church and afterwards. A private crematorium service for the immediate family will follow the funeral.
Following the funeral service, the family extends an invitation to Mirfield Constitutional and Social Club, 13 King Street, Mirfield, WF14 8AW, where the immediate family will join after the crematorium. The family requests donations to Richmond's Hope
