Harry Buck Obituary
Born on December 5, 1935, Buck lived a full and industrious life marked by entrepreneurial spirit and a love for adventure. He began a successful career with R.J. Reynolds before venturing into business ownership. Buck was the proud owner and operator of several video stores and later ran Sav-Way in Ogburn Station, where he became a familiar face to many in the community.
Buck had a passion for the open road and the great outdoors. He found joy in riding motorcycles, traveling across the country in his RV, and spending peaceful days fishing. These hobbies reflected his independent spirit and appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He and his wife spent time at their homes in Frostproof, Florida, Smith Mountain Lake , Virginia and a home in Long Beach, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Lumley Hewett by only eight short days; his brothers, Howard Hewett and James Hewett; and his sister, Helen Hewett Joyner.
Buck is remembered with affection by his nieces and nephews, as well as those who knew him throughout his life. His memory will live on through the stories shared by family and friends who cherished his presence.
