Dear family member,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your loved one, Harry Endo and excuse my intrusion at this time.
My name is Roger Eaton and I am a volunteer researcher with the Americans of Japanese Ancestry World War II Memorial Alliance. The mission of our organization is to promote the legacy of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, the 100th Battalion, and the Military Intelligence Service (MIS) and to accurately document and honor each and every veteran who was a member.
I am unable to verify that Harry Endo is in our database, and/or my data on him is incomplete. If he was a veteran of the 442, 100th, MIS, or any other Army Unit, or Korea or Vietnam, I would very much like to speak with you in order to complete our documentation of him. I can be reached at the email address or phone number above, or if you would like to drop me a note with your phone number I would be happy to call you.
To see more about our organization, please visit our website at www.ajawarvets.org. Also, available, at no charge, is our educational CD ROM “Echoes of Silence”.
I hope to hear from you and, again, my condolences to you and your family.
Respectfully,
Roger L. Eaton
