Harry VanDoran Gabbert Jr.

Harry and his brother, Tim were friends of mine when I grew up in Kansas City North. Fond memories.

My sympathy to Harry's family. I was stationed with Harry in Viet Nam. Harry was really a nice guy and a great friend to work with and hang out with when we had free time. I know you will miss him.

Harry was truly one of the nice guys, and I'm proud to have known him as a classmate and a friend. Our prayers for comfort, understanding and faith to his family.

May you feel the love of your friends and family as you go through this time of sorrow. I remember Harry as a dedicated family person and my Dad really enjoyed talking about guns and hunting with him.

Although I was the same age as his little brother Tim, Harry always treated me as an equal. A very gentle person. My prayers for the Gabberts.

I always knew I could turn to Harry to help me explain things to the press when I was a press officer at EPA. He was one of the good guys. I'm sorry we've lost him.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the Gabbert and McCall families. May the Lord comfort you in your time of sorrow.

Gosh, I remember Harry and I playing together as kids. Then I remember when we used to run around in his mom's T-Bird convertible. Old memories. I also remember Harry loved German war memorabilia. RIP

I didn't know him well but I know he had a wife and 3 daughters and later in life all his grandchildren and I think the world of all of those I know. I am sorry you all are having such a time. Every one of you are in my prayers. I hope you can find some peaceful times soon. and I am sorry for your pain. If I can be of any help with anything please don't hesitate to ask. Take care of yourselves I hope you can all find peace somehow. I know you will and that these hard days move us closer to our next great ones

Harry and i grew up together and he was a wonderful friend and great guy. We entered the Army together and went to Viet Nam; we were lucky and came home. We had many many fun times out together. He will be missed by many people, Roger Leigh
