We met Harry at The Store when we were visiting Neil. Neil graduated from the University of Redlands and he had a great poster of the University in his office there. That occasioned a great lengthy talk with Harry about the importance of education and how he and his wife sent all three kids to the mainland for college. He was an inspiring and brilliant man with a wonderful sense of humor and a great twinkle in his eye! A ninety year gift to the world!! Our sympathy to all. Char and Larry Burgess

I wasn't lucky enough to know Harry, but his daughter Susie, my dive buddy, talked of him often, and he was obviously not only a wonderful dad but a really involved civic leader who made a real difference to his community. Mahalo, Mr. Hasegawa.
