My Daddy
He taught me compassion for others, and to get involved to make the world a better place and not just sit back and complain. But most of all he taught me what commitment is. Commitment to family, your spouse and children and to strive to always support and encourage them. Even though a few of your grey hairs had my name on them you never judged me but always stood by me. Daddy I miss you so much and can't believe you are gone, and poor mom is just broken inside. Daddy we are doing our best to take care of mom but all she really wants is to be with you to continue your love story. I love you

My mum (grandma Allen) always spoke of Ray, of the time he was in England during the war in affectionate terms - a charm and generosity during hard times - many family stories, too many to put here.

We found him kind and good company - devastating for Audrey and all of you to lose him - our thoughts are with you all now.

Im sorry for the loss of my dear neighbor. A word of comfort in your time of sorrow. "He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces."

I remember when I was 17 and got a ticket for speeding going to work after school. Instead of grounding me for the 30 days I lost my license, he helped me tear the engine apart out of my 55 Chevy and rebuild it from a 265 to a 283 using Corvette engine parts. Ya I got yelled at and was grounded, but had a cool engine a month later.
