Harry Louis Krofssik

Harry Louis Krofssik, 83, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023. Harry was born on July 28, 1939 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Samuel and Esther (Alterio) Krofssik. Raised in a loving home, he was the youngest of four children and the only son.

In 1957, Harry joined the US Military and served as an airman basic for two years and was stationed at Lackland AFB, in San Antonio Texas. After leaving the military, he joined the local 1040 Teamsters as a truck driver. Following in his sister's footsteps, he bought a home in Monroe, CT and moved his family there in 1968 and raised his three sons, Mark, David and Daniel. He happily resided in Monroe for 55 years. The house on Twin Brook Terrace was home to many. With three active boys and multiple beloved dogs, Harry found time to cook big Italian meals for the family; his favorite dishes included lasagna and pasta fagioli. He was an avid Giants and Nascar fan, and he jokingly left his oldest son Mark his favorite Joey Logano cap and instructed him to always wear it when watching Nascar.

Harry is survived by his three children; Mark Krofssik and his wife Renee, of Monroe, CT. David Krofssik, his wife Cathy and David's children Justin and Molly Krofssik, as well as his great-grandson Axel Provenzano. Daniel Krofssik and his two children Kelli and Jake. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and three sisters, Norma Prentice, Eleanor Cassidy, and Joan Savo.

Funeral services will be a private family affair.
