Harry C. Lyman

LYMAN, Harry C. "Harry The Plumber", 95, of St. Petersburg, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Tierra Pines Center. He was born in Niskayuna, NY, and he came here in 1951. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Raceway, and was also a member of the American Legion Post #14, and the Knights of Columbus Council 2105. Throughout his life he was the caregiver for many family and friends. To the staff at Tierra Pines Center, the family extends their gratitude for the kindness and care they gave to Harry, especially to Howard who works on the weekends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lyman, and his siblings, Alfred Lyman, Walter Lyman, and Rita Riley. He is survived by his sister, Mabel Harrison; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial mass at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 9 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
