Harry Preece Obituary
Aged 83, passed away March 7, 2002 in Roseville. Born Nov. 7, 1918 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Lived 36 years in Loomis. Survived by his wife, Katherine H. of Rocklin; son Ronnie C. of Salem, OR; a stepson; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn of Nebraska. Preceded in death by sisters Dorothy Bristow of Hayden, ID and Louise Whitfield of Orangevale. Baptized and joined the Lutheran Church in 1992. Served in the US Navy on the heavy cruiser New Orleans from 1937 to 1941 and in the US Coast Guard from 1942 to 1945. He worked for the Milwaukee and Southern Pacific Railroads, Aerojet and retired from the State of California. Services Thursday, March 14 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church on Hope Way off of Penryn Road in Loomis, followed by interment at the Newcastle Cemetery. Please send remembrances instead of flowers to the Hope Lutheran Church in Loomis. Sands Foothill Chapel in Loomis is in charge of the arrangements.

Although it has been some years since our last Christmas Eve event, I still keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss Harry greatly and love you both.
