I had lost contact with Harry, but often thought of him and wondered what he was doing in his life. These e-mails tell me he was loved. I am sorry for your loss. May God bless you in your loss. Harry was my first cousin through his mother Opal. She was my mother- Effie Lockhart's sister. I am so glad he had a great life and loving family. Amanda Nixon Wise-Bristol, Va

Patsy, Angela, Sarah and Emmie,
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Harry. Unfortunately,we found out too late to come to the visitation. I would like to see Sarah and Emmie. There are many fond memories of the girls when they were with me and I often talk about them with other children I have kept. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
Love to all,

Angela, Patsy and girls,
Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Harry was an absolute wonderful person. I cannot think of a time in which I ever saw him without a smile on his face, even last week, in spite of the news, when I visited him in the hospital he was smiling.
Patsy, you and Harry always welcomed me in your home and treated me just like family. I never forgot that and you both will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you.
Angela, we have sooo many memories to look back on; trying to survive high school, riding horses, going to horse shows, sleep overs, trying to stay out of trouble ("trying" lol) and everything thing else that bff's go through, and looking back, your dad was ALWAYS a part of everything we did. You are blessed to have had such a wonderful Daddy, and I feel blessed to have known him.
Sarah & Emily, men like your "PaPal" are few and far between. How lucky you are to have spent so much time with him as you were growing up.
I know how much he loved his "girls" - all of you. How bright the sun must be shining in Heaven this morning, because God has truly welcomed home one of the most remarkable men I have ever known.
