We’re so sorry for your loss. Please accept our deepest condolences to your family over the loss of Harry. I cannot put into words how very sad the news is of Harry’s passing. We hope Jill, Mallory, Brooke, and Kelsey know how very often and how glowingly he spoke of all of you throughout the many years I worked with and for him at Ford.
He was truly the best Manager, and more importantly one of the best people in so many ways, that I had pleasure of working with. Harry has touched so many lives in the very best way. I’m grateful I got the chance to know him as both a colleague and a friend. Our family will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Harry was a beautiful, smiling soul to me growing up at St Martha. He could light up a room with kindness and was ever so effervescent. A go to confident, I can only imagine the 44 years of love, joy, family jokes and happiness he leaves Jill . I celebrate him and wish Jill and girls peace knowing he was an amazing man, to many, and his legacy lives on.

Harry was was one of the most kindest and caring persons I ever met in my entire life. He was clearly one of the greatest people I have ever met. He was a trusted colleague during my career at Ford as well as a mentor and friend to some many. He was the epitome of integrity and always doing the right thing.
His family was the true love of his life and taught so many of us to find the right balance between work and family. The world is a much better place because of Harry. He will be missed by so many. RIP my friend!

Harry and his family lived just a few doors down from me on the Southfield service drive. We were all part of the neighborhood "gang". We played baseball, went ice skating, swimming at Ten Eyck etc. We lost contact as we got older but reconnected at Sacred Heart where our kids went to school. It was a great reunion. We remembered the good times we had and how sometimes we bent the rules just a little so we could stay outside longer. Harry always had a smile and something nice to say. He once told me that i was the one that showed him that girls indeed could play baseball and other sports. This probably served him well with 3 daughters. Our deepest sympathies to Jill and the girls. Harry will truly be missed.
RIP Harry

Our heartfelt sympathy to Jill, Kelsey, Brooke, Mallery, Bob, and the entire Tarrant family. Harry had a zest for life; his enthusiasm and sense of humor were infectious, making it a joy to spent time with him. Many fond memories of Harry at countless Sacred Heart events. Harry's quick wit, endless banter and ability to tell a good story made him the straw that stirred the drink at our post-softball game "Team Meetings" (the meetings were priceless). His love for Jill and the girls was endless. Such a special man; a big loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Great and fond memories of Harry, Jill, and Family.
Sacred Heart was where we met. And when you became the Plant Managet at Wayne Assembly, and our paths crossed during a meeting, and the smile we shared at that time will always stay etched in my mind.

Harry was a good man who was ALWAYS cheerful with a great sense of humor. He visited the Whittemore (Charnock) hunting camp each year. He was a good and ethical hunter, and the life of the party. He always spoke fondly and lovingly about his wife, daughters, and grand kids. We are all in a state of shock with his untimely passing. I don't believe for a second that we'll never see him again. I am confident he is on the other side, and God willing we will all see him again. Prayers for strength to his family, and arsenal of friends who will miss him terribly.

We really got to know Harry and Jill through our kids going to SHS together. softball, golf and many good times spent together were such a bonus for us. Harry was a friend, mentor, and just a real great guy. His love for his family, especially Jill was so special and evident in everything he said and did. His humor and contagious laugh made his company that much more enjoyable. We pray for the family. Harry will be truly missed.

What a sad loss for his family and us as his friends and neighbors. Harry was such a kind man who always had a smile and a wave as he walked the neighborhood. Harry stepped in when we really needed him and served as the treasurer for our home owners association and did a fantastic job! Rest in peace Harry- we will miss you!

Prayers to Harry's family. We didn't keep in touch but back in the 70's we had a great week in Marquette xc skiing and playing in the snow. Lots of good memories hanging out in high school. I went and looked at the pictures I have of us having fun. Wish we had stayed connected! Gone too soon. Dirk Van Osdol

What a sad event. Harry and I worked at Ford together for many years. He and the family were also neighbors of ours here in Dearborn. He and Jill would go for their walks in the neighborhood often. Our sincerest condolences to the entire Tarrant family. Harry Tarrant was an absolutely awesome human being. What a huge and tragic loss.
