To Eric, Edwin and the Walborsky family:

I was saddened to read the news of your father's passing.

Even with this sunset, the sun also rises. . . as I am sure that it will for you all, with fond memories and loving thoughts of your dad.

Peace.

Outside of my family, Harry Walborsky was probably the most important person in my life. He was both mentor and friend. He gave me an opportunity to study chemistry under his wing when no one else seemed to think I could do it. His encouragement and enthusiasm for my class work and research allowed me to achieve a PhD in Chemistry and go on to a satisfying career in industry. We have kept in touch as friends in the intervening 42 years, sadly not as often as we should have. Harry will always have a special place in my heart and memory.
