Harry William Schulz Jr.

Harry William Schulz Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather passed away on August 24, 2025, in Reisterstown, Maryland. He was 92 years old.

Born on May 12, 1933, in Baltimore, Maryland, Harry spent his formative years in the city he would always call home. He graduated from Calvert Hall College High School in 1953, an institution that remained close to his heart throughout his life. Shortly after graduation, Harry served his country with honor in the United States Army, from 1953 to 1955. Following his time in the Army, Harry began a long and successful career with C & P Telephone and later Verizon.

Harry's greatest joy came from the family he built with his beloved wife Diane Schulz. Together they raised four children and as the children married their family grew in size and joy: Victoria Sprysenski and husband, John, Deborah Sellman and husband, Sean, Harry W. Schulz III and wife, Diana, and Jeffrey Schulz. Harry took immense pride in family accomplishments and cherished every moment spent together.

He was also a loving grandfather to Christopher, Nicholas, and Katherine Sprysenski, Lauren Sparks, Austin Sellman, Harrison and Caroline Schulz. He was pre-deceased by his loving granddaughter Lindsey Michelle. Harry was also a great grandfather to Brynndelyn & Keighyn Sparks.

Outside of work and family life, Harry found great enjoyment in golfing-a pastime that brought him both relaxation and camaraderie.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Harry's memory are invited to consider a gift to the Calvert Hall Tuition Assistance Fund at www.calverthall.com/giving. Harry supported the school throughout his life, so this would be a fitting tribute.

Harry's Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM at Calvert Hall College High School, 8102 Lasalle Road, Towson, Maryland 21286. This will be an open house celebration with refreshments served.
