Maxine, I am so sorry to just learn of Harvey's passing. We became close friends in 1977 through our love for tennis. We played together for many years and lunched together during what was probably his last visit to Greensboro.
May he rest in peace.

I met Harvey for the first time in business in 1968 and we remained good friends for the past 57 years. Before moving to California 8 years ago we had lunch on a semi-regular basis in Manhattan.

Harvey was what I consider the epitome of a fine gentleman and I consider it an honor to have known him and to call him a friend all of these years.

My father, Angelo "Kayo" Mandrano, work for Harvey at Greensboro Mfg. as the Pattern Maker from 1958-1976 (when Levis bought Greensboro Mfg.) Dad spoke highly of Harvey and loved working for him and the others at company. They had a great relationship partly due to Dad also being from NY, New Rochelle. I took Dad to an annual gathering of former employees of Greensboro Mfg. What a nice group of people and Dad thoroughly enjoyed the event. Last time I took him was summer of 2017, Dad past away in May 2018 (forty days shy of his 100th birthday). I'm glad to know Harvey had a long life too. May his Memory be a Blessing... like Dad's is for me. Best to all the Family

Harvey was a great guy and a Fraternity Brother at UNC. I knew him and his entire family from the day I was born. Harvey was a soft spoken, easy going man who was loved by all who knew him. Rest in Peace!
