Dear Harvey and Family, Harvey, I was bit a guest and did not find out about Harvey's passing until yesterday, Sept. 7th. Harvey not only guided me through a time of deep loss almost 35 years ago. Although bassed in Europe since then, every time I returned to Toronto I would live in his neighbourhood and run into him on walks. He never seemed to change. I recently realized I wasn't seeing him on walks so often and just assumed he was away for the summer. The news of his death, only yesterday, came as a total shock which I still live in. He's very much still here for me, as I am sure he is he for all of you, both family and fiends. What a gift this man was for so many! I was looking forward to our next crossing to ask him about the little violinist! And then forgot when we did meet...and now won't get another chance unless Mrs. Bellow gets in touch. As I didn't get to the funeral or to share with any one the gift he was to all of us who knew him, please don't hesitate to contact me.
