I came to know Dr. Rothman when I was an oncology sales representative calling on his office. During one of our business meetings, I volunteered to help him with the art work for a slide show he was preparing for an out-of-town meeting. As we worked together, creating his power point materials, we had a chance to meet casually on a couple of occasions. At the time, I knew many physicians who could be so pretencious and condescending to a mere drug rep. Harvey was always so kind and considerate. He reminded me that I had alot to offer. I really enjoyed his company. After he had successfully completed his lecture, he surprised me with an unexpected gift! The more important reward for my efforts was coming to know such a good man.

I have known Harvey for about 12 years. During that time, I would interact with him on both a professional and personal level. I had so much fun giving private and group dance lessons to Harvey and Sheryl, and I DJd several parties for the family and his medical practice. Harvey was always so upbeat, personable, and funny! We used to joke around all the time when I would see him at WCC. Even after Harvey got sick, he still recognized me and remembered who I was, and I was always so moved by that!! My heart is breaking for Sheryl, her sons, and Graham! You will all be In my thoughts and prayers...

Although saddened with his passing, it brings me great joy to read about the wonderful and positive impact Dr. Rothman had on the community. I never did realize how many lives he touched.

Dr. Rothman was my uncle and had such a zeal and passion for everything. I will miss our conversations about life, the Phillies, the Eagles, but will always cherish the memories of LBI, barbecues, and good music. It just feels very strange not having my uncle here with us in physical form.

May G-d watch over Scott, Sara, Andrew, Graham, and most of all, my Aunt Sheryl who took great care of him over these last few years.

Harvey was my very first partner in the practice of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University's School of Osteopathic Medicine from 1980-1990.We had many meaningful patient encounters and I could always rely on his knowledge and wisdom when we discussed mutual cases. In private practice, he continued to distinguish himself as a
complete physician. We all learned greater dimensions of Harvey today, through the eulogies beautifully and heartfeltly crafted by his sons Scott and Andrew and his brother Peter. Our respect is offered to Harvey, Cheryl and their family as they personally fought so gallantly against a disease, in many ways, more tragic even than those he and I fought during our association. Elaine and I send our most heartfelt condolences.

My deepest sympathy to the Rothman family. I worked with Harvey in the ER years ago and admired his professional skill but most of all, I became his friend. He had the best sense of humor. When my dear grandmother became ill, he was her doctor and she loved him. He was admired by many. The world has lost a great person.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Dr. Rothman treated my Mother over 20 years ago (2 times)and my Mother loved him. He always talked to her like she was his Mom, thoughtful and compassionate and when ever I had a question he would called back within an hour. He was a great doctor and person and will be missed.
