Hayes was the best. We have great times at ND and had many enjoyable telephone conversations about the law and life over the years. My condolences to Tena and his family.

My image of Hayes will always be him with a sly smile, ready with a friendly light hearted sarcastic comment. Smart, maybe brilliant and a friend forever. God Bless Hayes, one of the Best.
