I did not know Mrs. Blackburn but felt a certain unity when I read she graduated from Macon Hospital School of Nursing. I am positive her training prepared her for a,role of providing healing and comfort to many. Prayers to the family..

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. Psalms 116:15.

My thoughts and prayers are for the family on this loss.Hazel was an "unforgettable character " and will be missed....Soo many great memories of growing up with her as my neighbor and friend.

To Fritz, Gale and your families: My thoughts and prayers are with you all. What wonderful (and hilarious) memories I have to hold onto! Hazel was one of a kind. How blessed I am to have been a small part of that. I hope all of you can find peace and comfort. Long live all the memories and long live Dark Shadows!
