I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Hazel from coming into Marquitz. We became fast friends and shared a love of reading. She made me a beautiful ceramic lady for me and surprised me with the gift. But that was so like her. I will miss her greatly.

We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a special lady, and Mom so enjoyed talking with her at family gatherings. We will all miss her, and her sense of humor and love of her family. We love you, Bonnie and David, and keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

We are saddened at the news of your mother's passing. Hazel hired me for my first job in 1968 at Blue Cross when I graduated from high school. I continued to work there after college and she always remembered me. Hazel was in my mother-in-law's card club, Mae Steib Hempel. I saw Hazel last year when she was visiting a resident at NHC in St. Charles when my father was also there. I was so delighted that she still remembered me after all these years and we had a wonderful conversation. She was a beautiful, classy woman with an overflowing personality and she will be missed by more people than you know. God's blessings and comfort to you and your family.

Hazel will truly be missed at the BCBSMO Retiree luncheons that she started when she retired. She was really a wonderful, caring person. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She will be missed

Bonnie, David and Family, I know that no amount of time can prepare us for loss and no one can fully understand your sorrow. But we can sympathize with you as we have been there. Just remember that many hearts are with you praying you will have the strength to get you through this difficult time. So many good memories of your Mom and Dad come to my mind. She was such a lovely and sweet person and will surely be missed by all. We sent you our love and a "hug" from afar.
Love, Carole and Robert
