Grandma, Even though you are in heaven I know you can see this, in between your walks with God and playing with Ashes. You are a great asset here and in Heaven. All the lives you touched made changes for the better in them. Your faith was so strong, I believe that is what made you always wear a smile. I do not know anyone who I can say that I never heard a cross word about or toward. You most definetly made an impact on my life, the lives of my children and accepted my husband with open arms. It meant so much to hear the day you told him you would be his grandma too. Your last words to me will always be remembered, "Be a good little girl and take care of your family. I will be watching you." I was blessed beyond any imagination to have you as my Grandma. Not everyone can say that, but I can and know that it is truthful. Watch over us all and we will try our best to be worthy of you eternal love and guardianship. I will see you again one day. I miss you terribly but I would not ask for you back. That is selfish and I know you are no longer suffering or in pain. That was my prayer for you. I will cherish my memories of the time I had with you always. I LOVE YOU whole bunches.

Grandma was truly an angel here on earth. She always had a smile on her face and laughed about everything. I will always remember the many times she let us stay with her as kids, fixed us THE BEST breakfasts, and sat on the front porch with us singing gospel hymns and telling stories from her life. Grandma passed her faith and wisdom on all the way to the end. I will miss her terribly, but am comforted by knowing that she is walking with God and looking after all of us. I love you Grandma!
The Lord's greatest Shepherd here on earth. Thank you Grandma for loving me.

Mama, This is a tough time for all, especially Grandma's kids. I keep Amazing Grace going in my head, talking to her and knowing she is walking and talking with God. I pray God will get you through this also. I am here for you if you need me for anything. I love you and I want to help you in some way.

Mama,
I know that this is probably the most difficult time of your life. It helps to know that Grandma is in heaven and is smiling once more. I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and ease your pain. I love you dearly and am here for you always. I love you.

Thank you Grandma for all of the wonderful memories you have given me. Simple things like sitting on the front porch swing listening to you sing gospel hymns or tell us stories of your childhood, letting 15 or more grandchildren stay the night without complaint, fixing THE BEST breakfasts anyone could ask for, staying with me while Mom & Dad worked, and teaching me to crochet. You were always a wonderful example of how a Christian should live their life. You never had a harsh word to say about anyone and you always had a smile on your face. I am sad to see you go, but I know that you are now with God. It was comforting to see you so strong in your faith that you were not afraid of dying, but looked forward to meeting your Lord. Even up to your last moments, you continued to share your wisdom and faith with me, my children, and everyone who would come close enough to hear you. Grandma, you were an incredible woman and will be missed greatly. Watch over us all until we meet you in heaven. I love you.
