Hazel was my friend since 1989 when we met at work. I was fortunate enough to have know this lovely fun intelligent person. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and remains in my heart always.

My deepest sympathy to Cousin Hazel's family, we became acquainted through our family research, then we met when she attended our ancestry meeting in Alabama in 2004. Although we only met once we became acquainted through our family emails, and shared many thoughts and ideas about family history which she truly enjoyed along with life, politics, and other interests. She will be missed.

Hazel was truly an incredible person. She was an optimist, kind, a fighter, and a realist. She was a doer, independent, and one heck of a correspondent. She spoke with a voice that was beautiful and truly her own. I will miss Hazel. My condolences to her family.
