Hazel MURDOCH Obituary
July 6, 1916 - March 14, 2013
The passing of Hazel Maude Murdoch, of Outlook and formerly of Birsay, Sask., occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Outlook & District Health Centre, at the age of 96 years. Hazel is survived by her family: Ellen (Ken) Berger of Central Butte, Sask., Laura (Bill) Bowey of Outlook, Sask., Mervin (Darlene) Murdoch of Birsay, Sask., Donna Nowosad of Vermilion, AB, and Ross Murdoch of Saskatoon; 17 grandchildren; 35 great- grandchildren; 2 daughters-in-law, Randi Murdoch of Macrorie, Sask. and Dianne Murdoch of Souris, MB; 2 brothers, Gerald (Donna) Coates of Hudson Bay, and Ken (Kathy) Coates of Saskatoon; 2 sisters-in-law, Calmin Murdoch of Saskatoon and Elsie Murdoch of Winnipeg, MB; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Birsay United Church, Birsay, Sask. with Rev. Cindy Gossling officiating. Interment will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Birsay United Church or The Outlook & District Health Foundations. Arrangements are in care of the Outlook Funeral Chapel 867-8255.

I have fond memories of Hazel when she worked at the telephone office in Birsay. She was a kind hearted and soft spoken lady and was a friend of my moms.
