Richard and Robert, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mother tolerated a lot from us kids. It was always a treat to eat Sunday dinner during a hockey game or football game. I have still to find cole slaw as good as hers. Sadly, she would not give me her recipe, she was stubborn in that! Her heart touched many people, including mine. God bless the whole family.

To all of Hazel's family,
Your Mother/Grandmother/Great-Grandmother was my confidante and inspiration. Visits with her and your Father/Grandfather/Great-Grandfather, Harold, with Kimberly, Gregory, and our mailman, Dennis, were enchanting--Harold would don his top hat and cane and perform in their kitchen for my children.
God bless you, my dear friend, Hazel. I will remember you always.
Love, Pattie Filippetti Hnat

From Harold and Hazel's Westwood Dr., Groton City neighbors, Fritz and Lynn Poppe (and sons James and Mark): It has been a blessed priviledge living next door to Hazel and Harold. When we first moved into the neighborhood a dozen years ago, Harold offered many gardening and lawn care suggestions and recommendations -all of which we dutifully followed. We lovingly recall how Hazel used to walk her property, in the Sping to view the varied flowering trees Harold had planted alongside Westwood Dr., and, in the Summer and Fall to check on and harvest her kitchen garden. We happily anticipate our re-union with Harold and Hazel at Our Lord's Banquet Hall in His heavens. All Our Love, The Poppes.
