It is difficult to imagine such an unexpected death for a young family. All must contribute to comforting Ava through the years. Help her benefit in knowing her family. God is with you and will help ease the sad times.

I only knew Heather as the beloved friend of my niece, Amanda Ferrell Nicholson, and though our times together were limited, her eyes shined with the love of her Jesus and her infectious smile and spirit drew me in completely. There are no words I can offer except to wrap yourselves in the arms of the Lord. Heather was a blessing in life and remains so in the lives she's saved in the giving of herself. Heather, we grew up together, but I hadn't seen you in years. I have prayed for your family since I found out, you have not been far from my thoughts. I have fought questions of why and you have made me appreciate waking up so much more. My heart is shattered for your family. You were such a lovely woman, the type of person, even when we were little girls growing up together, that would come and put your arm around someone when they were down, and flash that radiant smile that brings warmth. Though I only knew Heather for a short time after having met her during nursing school, my life will never be the same after having known her. My thoughts and prayers are wih you during this time. Heather will be greatly missed, for hers was a life that will not be forgotten by those who knew her and were touched by her life.

Larry/Tammy: I did not know Heather but from what I have heard she was a wonderful young woman. My sympathy goes out to your entire family.

Heather was such a beautiful person. Her smile was like a ray of sunshine. My most vivid memory of Heather was on a horse at Paul's farm. There was such a story behind that memory. Paul I just want you to know that my heart hurts for you. I can't even begin to imagine what you and your family are feeling. I am praying for you.
