We were deeply saddened to hear of Heather's death today. How confronting this is, as we reflect on memories of years gone by.

27 years ago Heather became my Doctor, she was an excellent diagnostician warm and very caring.
I also remember chatting with her in East Maitland swimming pool, there were people everywhere, when she suddenly lunged to the side...she was the only person to notice a toddler slip silently into the water, she made sure he was ok then carried on like it was nothing.
I am deeply saddened by her death, she was a brilliant woman.
Heartfelt sympathy to her loved ones.
