Carolyn, Pete, and Zach; you have been my second family since I was four years old. I will never ever forget any moment that I shared with Heather or with each of you. You all mean the world to me, and I hope that you know that Heather is stil with us, just not here, but she is in our hearts, and our prayers. I love you all so much, and will always miss my "sister"

Peter, Carolyn, Zach, and William,
I hope you are all okay. Heather was a great girl, though, so its probably very hard for you to go through this. I've been through this with my father, but Heather is so much different.

I don't know what to say about Heather that everyone doesn't already know. Heather was a wild spirit and she couldn't be held back. She was always pushing you to do better. Heather's ambition was undiscribable she could of had the world!
Heather liked hanging out with her friends. She wanted to be a radologist, she wanted to help people as her career. Heather was an open minded person and if she had something to say to or about you she would.
I will never forget the things Heather did for me and her friends. Heather was the type of person who could brighten a room as soon as she walked in. Her smile bringing joy to my life every time I saw it.
Heather is my bestfrined and will remain my bestfriend. She had become a part of me a part that will never be replaced. Heather will be in my mind forever. I will always love her for who she was, not what she did. I will miss her for the rest of my life and love her even longer. It's not the bad times we remember it's the goodtimes that are always there for you. I'm sorry I can't write the words that truely express my feelings of what happened. We must remember there are no goodbyes only see you laters
Peter and Caroline I promise to watch over Zach to make sure he's happy and safe. I am truely sorry for what happened to Heather, and if you need anything I mean anything don't be afraid to call me at any time.

Pete, Carolyn and Zach,
There are so many words to be said, none of which will last like the memories of Heather. I feel Heather is in heaven and being well taken care of, it is the people left here on earth that feel the pain. When we were all at the Church on Saturday, the skies opened up and the sun was shining so brightly into the church, I felt that was Heather letting everyone know that she was OK, and the thing that makes me feel this even more is when we left the reception there was a double rainbow reaching from Westport to Whallonsburg. God Bless you all.

Heather was always smiling and she was a BEAUTIFUL yung woman. I have to say, i admired her. I loved her hair. She had curly hair and so did I and when she got it cut, i went and got my hair cut and i asked her if she liked it and she said that we could have been twins. She would also talk to me when noone was around and stuff, she was friendly and i think that everybody loved her. I know i did and i personally will miss her forever and ever. Also,i put 3 pages of her in my scrapbook and i have like a collage of her and i on my wall above my bed. We took alot of pictures of us together and i talked to her over the phone about my boy troubles. She was a very helpful person in that spot. Also, she could give great beauty tips to me
I love heather and i know alot of people did.
I hope that her family does okay and i want to tell them i hope they are okay.
I love ya heather and if u are watchiong anybody, know that we all love and miss you.

Dear Vanderhoof family,
we are so sorry for your loss. Our family knew Heather very well. She used to live next to us on brookfield rd. We always liked to see her face coming up our driveway just to say hi or see how our kids were doing. Both of them liked her so much. She used to babysit them. And they loved her like an aunt. We send our prayers to you and your family. We loved her,and will greatly miss her wonderfull smile and will miss the laughter she brought to a room when she was in it. But we are forever going to remember the talent and the grace with which she held in her life. She will be greatly missed by our family but never forgotten.

Dear Carolyn, Peter, and Zach
My heart goes out to you in the terrible and tragic loss of Heather. Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Heather, I have heard many people speak of her wonderful spirit and describe how gifted she was in so many ways. I'm sure that healing from this blow will take a long time, but may you find comfort from your family and friends and all those who knew Heather. I send my sincerest condolences, as well, to the students and staff of the Senior Class at Westport Central School. The loss of someone so young and talented is one that no one should have to bear.
With deepest sympathy,
