Jesse's love, compassion, and warmth will be missed. He was a wonderful, joyful person who cared so much for his family and for those around him. I remember visiting Muleshoe with my mom (Ms. Dolores Garcia) as a child and feeling so loved by Jesse and the entire Leal family. Jesse set the tone for "family" and for togetherness and through his example created a loving and caring environment. I will deeply miss him.

My most deepest sympathy to the Leal family. My parents became your parents' compradres back when we lived in Muleshoe, my native town. I still remember going to the Leal Restaurant for dinner occasionally. This was back in the early 1960's. My father, Carlos Reyes, went with the Good Lord this past January 23rd. I know that you all will dearly miss as I miss my Dad. Cherish the time spent together and continue to move forward. May God's Holy Spirit provide the Leal family with peace and comfort.
