Heidi (Williams) Bouchard, 48, Of Groton, MA, died Tuesday, November 13th, following a sudden illness, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Daughter of the late Bernard and Rosalie Williams, she was born in Groton, MA on September 20, 1970, and was raised in Pepperell. Heidi lived in Morgan Hills, California before returning home to Pepperell, eventually making Groton her home where she has lived for nearly ten years.
Despite facing many challenges in her life, including an illness that left her disabled a decade before her death, Heidi remained independent and endlessly optimistic. Her strong faith in God and humanity shone through in her positive spirit for life. She was never far from her loyal best friend and companion, her service dog, Monkey. Heidi will be missed by her family and many friends whose lives she touched with her great kindness. Heidi was always willing to lend an ear to a friend in need, and her contagious smile and laugh could brighten the darkest of days.
Heidi is survived by her siblings, Betty-Anne Herget and Michelle Gauthier, of Pepperell, MA, Bernard and Neena Williams of Pepperell, MA, Rosalie Kimball of Odessa, NY, Richard and Mary Williams of Fort Fairfield , ME, Robert Williams of Nashua NH, Eleanor Jones of Lexington, MA, Brian Williams of Lowell, MA, John and Nancy Williams of Townsend MA and Marion Williams and Gregg Silverio of Boxborough, MA, as well as 20 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received by the family Monday 4-7 at Marchand Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant Street, Pepperell, MA. Followed by a memorial service at 7 PM. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA https://www.aspca.org/ways-to-give.
