Heidi Lynn Highfield

February 22,1975 Denver. Colorado - June 26, 2022 Westley Chapel, FL

She moved with her family from Aurora, Colorado at the age of five to Houston where she enjoyed the normal childhood activities of swimming, soccer, playing with her girlfriends and being known by all. She excelled in school and all that affords in the early years. She graduated from Alief Hastings High School where she was nominated for home coming queen. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Metropolitan State Community College at Denver and a Master's Degree from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas in Counseling / Family and Child development.

After working normal jobs, including Child Protective Services, she explored her entrepreneurial spirit with her own company and then to her calling as a professional counselor and nanny. She really loved children. The families she worked with couldn't say enough wonderful things about her. Comments on the Nanny web site are extraordinary. They praised her for her ability with their kids and even the neighbor kids who were attracted to her as well. Words that describe her are caring, vivacious, quick to laugh heartily, energetic, very pretty, loved the outdoors and so loving and kind. She coupled that with being a strong independent and confident person and considerate to all she met. The minute people met her they loved and admired her. The absolute love of her life was her son, Isaiah. God knew her heart needed him. She was the best mom any one could have or even imagine. She was fantastic and unique in her parenting skills;

remarkable to watch. She loved Jesus and had a very real and personal relationship with the Lord. She loved Christian music and the Bible verses brought great wisdom, comfort, and encouragement.

After a very short fight with an aggressive cancer, she peacefully was called to Heaven to rejoice with

others who went before: her brother, Mark Thomas Highfield, Grandma and Grandpa (Dorcas and

Marshall) Highfield, and Grandpa (Kenneth) Larson among other relatives.

She leaves behind her dear son Isaiah Mark, her father Thomas Highfield (Susan) of Fort Worth, mother

Mitzi Yvonne (Jim) Hendrix, sister Erin Highfield, and many other cousins and relatives and friends.

We celebrate her life on the Siesta Beach in Florida.
