Heidi Lorraine Marsh

Heidi (Murray) Marsh, 50, passed away suddenly on January 22, 2023, in Bakersfield, CA. She was born September 1, 1972 in Santa Barbara, CA; the eldest daughter of Douglas and Pamela Murray's children.

Heidi attended local schools and graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1990 where she was crowned Miss BHS her Senior year. She was involved in Speech & Debate, ASB, and a Driller cheerleader.

From the age of five years old, Heidi danced for Civic Dance Studio and performed in the Nutcracker for over a decade. She was a beautiful dancer that enjoyed all aspects of dance and cheerleading.

Heidi attended Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo, Fresno State, California State Bakersfield; and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Taft College. She went on to pursue a successful career in dental hygiene for many years.

In 1994 she met and fell in love with Gary Marsh, and later married in September of 1996 at First United Methodist Church of Santa Barbara.

After six years of marriage, they welcomed the love of their lives, Emily Ann Marsh. Heidi absolutely loved being a Mother to her dear Emily Ann.

Heidi is remembered for her contagious giggle, loving heart, and unconditional kindness to all around her. Her smile could light up any room! She was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

She leaves behind her husband Gary Marsh, beloved daughter Emily, Mother Pam Murray Sandrini, Step Father Richard Sandrini, sisters Kelly (Lon) Duncan, and Katie (John) Hahn, nieces and nephews Douglas, Gavin, and Ava, and many wonderful Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Heidi was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Murray and her Grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Santa Barbara. 305 E Anapamu St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, on Thursday, February 23, 2023 @ 11:00AM.
