Heidi and I met each other in elementary school and she was one of my best friends. We had a lot of great memories. We lost touch with each other as we got older and our lives were changing but to hear the news of her passing just breaks my heart. My prayers are with her family and to all that was blessed to have had a chance to know her. This angel gained her wings and she will forever be remembered. May you Rest In Peace Heidi!

I met Heidi at Derita Elementary school in 1988. She was friends and in the same grade as my younger sister Wendy. I remember how shy and smart she was. She made me a cassette tape one time with a Debbie Gibson or Cyndi Lauper song on it. I can't recall which song. I would probably know it if I hear it. But every time I would chat with Heidi on a Facebook post, I would always remember that tape. She was a sweet soul and is gone way to soon. My thoughts and prayers are with her family . It deeply saddens me to think of her daughter Lily and her loss. I will never forget you Heidi. May you Rest in Peace

I'm very sorry for your loss. I recently learned about Heidi, from a friend. I didn't personally know her, but we attended the same high school. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, during this difficult time.

Oh Heidi I can't even explain how much I am going to miss you. We had our ups and downs like siblings do but we always knew the love for one another would never stop. I wanted so badly for you to be happy and now you are. You are pain free and you are safe in the arms of Jesus. Girl please watch over all of us. This is the hardest thing I have ever been through. I'm going to miss your wonderful smile, your sense of humor and most of all just being able to hug you and tell you how much I love you. I'm so sorry Heidi. I'm sorry I wasn't there to hold your hand. I didn't want it to be like this. We always said we would grow old together and sit on a beach in rocking chairs people watching. We still will do this. I will hold the memory of your beautiful face with me forever! Lily is going to be everything you wanted and more. She has a sweet soul like you and I want her to know how much her mama loves her. She will never forget you Heidi. We will see each other again and we will have the best reunion in heaven. You have friends and family who loved you and who have posted things about you. I know you can see it. We all miss you and we will never forget you! I love you so very much Heidi may you Rest In Peace. ❤

Heaven has a new angel, Heidi will suffer no longer. She will Rest In Peace. I honestly believe she is watching down on sweet Lily and will be very proud of what she becomes. I am hurting for all of you but know you will find peace in knowing that she is with Jesus and those she loved that went before her. We will all meet agin. Much love. Susan Causey

Heidi you will forever hold a special place in my heart. I'm beyond devastated by this news. We just had one of our long talk just last week. I know now you are in no more pain. I pray for you, I pray for your parents, but most importantly I pray for Lily. Friends like you only come around once in a lifetime and I'm so glad you were mine. Life wasn't always easy but you know we survived and made the best of it. My heart hurts now and always. Fly high love and just know I'll always have you close. Until we meet again.....
