Helen Irene Ayers Helen Irene Ayers, age 71, of Woodbridge, Va., passed away September 23, 2011. She was the widow of Paul Everette Ayers and was a retired nurse.

Mrs. Ayers was born March 2, 1940 a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Tyler Hawkins. She is survived by three sons, John R. Ayers of Fredericks-burg, Va., Stephan R. Ayers of Falls Church, Va., Kevin L. Ayers of Fredericksburg; five sisters, Katherine Myers of La., Audrey Nichols of Ariz., Linda Kessler of Md., Nancy Jenkins of Va. and Margaret Schwartz of Fla.; a brother, Robert Hawkins of Pa.; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Mount-castle Turch Life Cele-bration Home, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, VA 22193. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Arrangements by Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home of Dale City, Va.
