Barbara & Elaine Please accept my condolence on the passing of your mother. I seldom read the obituaries in the Globe, but tonight I was reading the paper on line and of course she was the first one. I am very sorry for your loss. I hope you remember me. I remember living with Barbara and your parents from the time I was about 6 1/2 months old until I was 2 and went to live with my grandfather. I will never forget your parents kindness and generosity in helping raise the child of a friend, my dad Sonny Shaffer my mother had died.
