Patty (Polak) Lang

Helen was my good friend and co-worker from our GTE days. She was such an inspiration to me for her deep faith, her humor, her work ethic. I loved her stories of the Polka dances. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and I am blessed to have known her. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to her family.

While I knew her from St. Anthony's in Windber, I feel blessed to have grown closer to Aunt Helen through her nieces, Debbie and Kathy. She was a warm, funny, and very sweet woman. I always enjoyed being with her. And, she was so wonderful to my daughter, Nicole. We will miss her and always remember her smiles and laughter. There is a new angel in heaven.

I knew Helen from our GTE days. When I visited from Erie, she was always very kind and helpful and always greeted everyone with a smile. I still use some recipes from the St. Anthony's cook book, "The Antonian" which I purchased from her many years ago. May the peace of God's love and His grace comfort you in your loss.
