Helen J. Watson Carlo, 60, of Brunswick, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at her residence. Graveside rites will be held at 11AM Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Palmetto Cemetery with Rev. Randy Smith officiating.
Born December 12, 1950 in Toombs County Georgia to Harold Brantley and Ruby Lena D. Carroll she was a former employee of SunTrust Bank, Publix, GA Farm Bureau Insurance, Harris Teeter, and The Brunswick Library. She had been a resident of Glynn County since 1950 and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold B. Carroll and a son, Morris James Watson, Jr., and a sister, Wilma Dean Senior.
Survivors include her husband of 6 years, Mike Carlo, a son, Steve Watson and wife Layla, a daughter, Cassandra Delaine Nolf and husband John, her mother, Ruby Lena D. Carroll all of Brunswick, four grandchildren, Soncera Nolf, Kyra Nolf, Steven Watson II, Roxanna Watson and Patrick Shirah, and two sisters, Jeanenne Freeman, and Melissa Higgins both of Brunswick.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice. Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.edomillerandsons.com
