Dear Helen, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mum. My thoughts are with you. I just found out.
I spent so much time at your place as a little kid. I remember she made the best coconut ice in the world., and some other slice thing. Really yummy.It's funny how much I loved that stuff back then and now I can't bear to even smell it. She was always so nice to me.
I hope you can find strength in your family and friends through this rough time. It's never a good time to lose your mum, but focus on the great things she brought to your life. She will always be with you in your heart.
