Fondly remembering the many good times at the house, the wide ranging, in-depth discussions of the strange and comical sides of life with Cooper, Trevor and an assorted cast of friends and characters, the endless batches of rescued cats, Helen's roaring laughter and wiping away tears, the little history lessons attached to crafted pieces of sterling silver, and many kindnesses shown all those years ago when welcoming a new friend who had come to the big city as young university student away from home. And the uninterrupted arrival of birthday and christmas cards in the 20 plus years since. Helen - thanks for the friendship and now I hope you can get back to observing on the strangeness of life on earth and laughing from your kitchen table in heaven. With Love.
