She is survived by:
Three sons:
William Christopher Couie and wife Cindy of Vidalia, Louisiana
Michael Sikes of Smackover, Arkansas
Clifton Sikes
One sister:
Mary W. Spillman and husband Roy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana
One brother:
William “Bill” Whittington
Two granddaughters:
Aprile Thompson and husband James of Heavener, Oklahoma
Kaylee Couie of Vidalia, Louisiana
Three grandsons:
Matthew, Jacob, and Andrew Couie all of Vidalia, Louisiana
Nine great-grandchildren
Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends
Inez was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Maude Emily “Whitt” Durham, Marian W. Gober, Elma Lee Harris, Marie W. McClendon, and a brother, Mitchell Whittington. Inez was a nurse technician. She was devoted to her family and had a firm belief in God in which supported her in her struggles and ultimately gave her peace. She passed away peacefully at Heavener Manor Nursing home after a valiant battle with a long illness. She will be remembered as a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jeff Little officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

You have lots of your siblings to catch up with now, I'm sure, but remember to watch over nanny as well! :) You were a lucky lady to have so many wonderful granddaughters and grandsons! You were truly loved by many people and we will all see you again one day!
