I'm very sorry to learn of Helen's passing. Although I didn't know her personally, I know she did good works in her life. My sincere sympathy and prayers to you and your family..

My sincere condolences to BOB, Joshua, Michele. Doug,and Steve, as well as her sister-in-laws. I will truly miss Helen. She was such fun to meet for coffee or just to talk. Helen was always ready to have me over to dinner and I especially remember her great desserts and barbequed ribs. She was generous and always ready to help someone in need. She leaves pleasant memories. I will ALWAYS miss Helen. I am so sad but will remember the fun times we had together.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Helen Wirt Lee. I've known her since ninth grade at Bay City Central High School, and the last time I saw her was at our 50 year reunion in 2012.

Steve, Dena, Daniel, and family, just wanted to let you know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Helen was a very caring and gracious lady. I always remember how much she valued the teaching profession and education in general. Also, I remember all of the baked treats she gave me each summer that I worked lawn maintenance out at the beach. She greeted everyone with a smile and an open ear. God bless and give you strength in the days ahead.

Today I say goodbye to my dear friend Helen. Maisy and I will miss you so very very much. Sweet, peaceful dreams my soul sister.

Dr Lee, You have lost your best friend. I always enjoyed talking with her in all those places mentioned in the obituary, but what I remember most is our time playing doubles tennis. She is an inspiration to all of us to help others.

Helen and I grew up together. We,along with Alan Sternberg,, were the only Jewish kids in our high school class. After college I moved to Chicago and she and Bob came home. After my parents passed away we eventually lost touch. I will always remember her as full of energy, humor and generosity. She loved her life and adored her family. She always made me smile. May she rest in peace.
