Survivors include a son, Kenneth McFarland, Davenport; and a brother, Alvin Wiese, Denison, Iowa. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, in 1974.

Dear ken..
Mel, Steve, and I, were deeply saddended to hear of your Mom's passing. *sigh* We got the word from my stepdaughter Theresa, there in Davenport. Our hearts go out to you, in your loss, and our prayers are with you and your Mom. I was so happy to see the message from Joan Moritz, as I lost track of her once she left Davenport. Joan..if you read this...please email me. Ken, take care of yourself and know we are here for you...if you need us for anything. ~~And angel kisses you will feel...when no one is in sight.~~ Love...Mary, Mel, and Steve.

Dear Ken, My name is Joan Moritz and years ago I worked with your Mom at Jefferson School. If I remember correctly my daughter Kathie was in the same grade as you were. I have lived in Cincinnati for the past 12 years and read the QC Times every morning. I am so sorry to read of your Mom's death. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this very difficult time.
