Helen was a remarkable woman. I became acquainted with Helen through the Garden Club of Dearborn. In activities through that organiztion, she assisted with cheerful demeaner and encouragement to to others. I especially admired how she helped with the "Horticulture Therapy " craft projects at the Oakwood Commons, even though she was older than the senior people we worked with. I remember her wonderful 90th birthday celebration - where she encouraged everyone to have a glass of wine. I will miss her, but thankful that she lived and shared her life with us.

We´ve lived next door to Helen for almost a decade. In that time she has been so exceptionally kind to my family. She was a lovely woman and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Met Helen in Garden Club of Dearborn and always enjoyed talking with her and talking about our times each year in Florida. I will remember her bright smile, friendship and Birthday parties!

Helen will truly be missed by her New Colony Club of Dearborn friends. She will be remembered for being the club photographer for many years, for always being chic, for being kind and welcoming and most of all for being optimistic.
May the choirs of angels come to greet her and speed her to paradise.

My mom, Michele, her sisters, and her parents-- the Manenty's, grew up across the street from Mrs. Petricko and her family. When my dad passed away in 2017, Mrs. Petricko drove herself to his service to share her condolences with us on a cold snowy January evening. Every bit of support helped that day, and seeing her there really meant a lot-- she was so kind. I am so sorry for your family's loss. My mom has shared memories of her with me of growing up on Chicago Street. I wish you great amounts of strength as you navigate the grief of losing someone so profound.
