Brian was my brother. Very sad. Still don´t understand why he died as he was a runner and thought to be in good health. His friends all comment that he was a nice quiet guy. Moving from the Bronx, NY to Staten Island, NY, we became commuters, he going to Cathedral Prep HS and then Manhattan University in the Bronx where he resided for the school year. Likewise a commuter, I went to Fordham University and worked in the city, causing us both to become distant ... although it´s actually more complicated than that. Moving to California and traveling for the Government, with him getting married didn´t help. Neither of us picked up the phone, which I regret. Always thought he might become a priest. His daughter and her husband, CATHERINE and GEORGE THOMAS, are wonderful people, as are his two grandsons, Brian and James, and granddaughter Claire. We miss him.

Brian was my classmate at St Helena´s grade school back in the 50´s n 60´s. I too lived in Parkchester. Good guy, quiet, stayed out of trouble, studious. Sorry to have learned of his death. RIP
