My Condolences goes out to the Sessa family on the loss of your mother. I remember Mr and Mrs Sessa being warm and caring people who never ever looked down at anyone.I was around Kathy and Chuckie's age and I also remember Mr. and Mrs Sessa being avid sports fans as well. Never missing any of their kids sporting activities. It's really sad now that the icons of Swissvale that I knew as a kid that helped make Swissvale the town that it was are all passing on.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Helen. She was "my friend Helen" as i would call her, she handled the money at Edgewood Primary during lunch and breakfeast when i went there. She knew who i was because of my grandmother Mary Petty and my mom Terry Petty. She would let me borrow money if i did not have enough. She certainly made an impression even at a young age. I know she will be missed and my prayers will be with her and the family.

To the Sessa family. Our deepest condolences to all of you. I used to live right behind Helen & Pete & we also knew Helen from the American Legion & VFW. Alot of good times & memories. She will be missed. Kevin nicknamed her Stretch & thats what we called her & she loved it.

We are so deeply saddened to lose Helen. She was so good to me, and I'll always remember all the times we used to sit and chat on the phone. She never did make it to 7-Springs with us Pete!!!
