During my 40+ years, making Films, Helen was 'The
Person', to call when talent was needed.
She was truly a Shining Star. Prior to her debut, Chicago was the source for SAG talent. Helen changed that for the Indianapolis Metro market. To
write that she was Dynamic is an understatement. You could like Helen for her work. You could love Helen as a person.
Helen, you are on the greatest Journey of all. When you arrive at your destination, please Reach.....Reach out and touch the Hand of God, for all of us.
Ad Astra, Sweetheart.

I am so sorry to hear about Helen. She had the ability to light up a room when she walked in with her beautiful smile and loving energy. I remember how kind she was to all of us kids in the neighborhood. She always made us feel welcome when we came over to play with your dog King or any of you kids. And I loved how the house always smelled like fresh bacon and eggs! I don't think I ever heard an angry word from her. The world was blessed to have Helen. She will certainly be missed. I send my love to all of you at this difficult time.

Helen was like another mother to me growing up. The Wellses lived across the street from us in Windcombe and I have so many memories of our families together. Bob Wells took my mother to the hospital when she was in labor with my brother. I remember so many mornings as a small child Helen and my mother sitting for hours at our kitchen table talking and drinking coffee. Helen calling to me from their screened in porch when they were having ham and me running over to have some. So many memories and I treasure all of them.
To Kathy, Maribeth, Nancy, Sally and David. I love you and am keeping all of you in my prayers as I remember beautiful Helen and the love she showed to me and so many.

What I loved about Helen Wells is the warmth that exuded. As one of her talents I found her to be genuine. She will be sorely missed.

Our deepest love and sympathy goes out to all of Helen's family..after 32 years of loving Helen, I feel like I am family as well.she was a Colts cheerleader judge in '84 when we met and so well respected in the city. She was more than just an agent, mentor, friend and mother figure. She held a deep place in my heart. She influenced so many people and will be missed . I will remember to pray for all of you in the days to come. She is with Jesus now.

Cathy, Nancy, David, Maribeth and Sally,
Though it's been many years, I felt great sadness when I heard about "Mom". I remember, fondly the Saturdays nights "the Gang" would convene at the Nora house to watch the Muppet Show. And will never forget the "Regatta Party" on R.O.'s boat. Your Mom was my "surrogate" Mom in the late 70's, early 80's. She was, your whole family was, a "class act". Precious memories I will always have close by. I would be at the service, but I am out of town and will not be getting back until afterwards. Thinking of you all.

My dear neighbor and friend for many years will be so missed. She was Aunt Helen to my 3 sons and when they were little they thought her kids were their relatives as they all loved children as their mother did. One time my 3 year old went over and picked all her tulips for a gift for me. She laughed and laughed unlike many who would have been furious. What a strong and vibrant family she created!

To all her children (but especially those I knew best--Nancy, Sally, and David), I wanted to express my condolences on my behalf as well as my mom (Darlene Ball), sister (Kimberly Moore), and aunt (Sunny Dulin).
It was always a pleasure to see your mom at swim meets and other places I ran into her like the Christ the King Festival.
My family will be thinking of yours during this time.

I was blessed to work for Helen and Nan for a short while. Helen's exquisite class and demeanor will always stand out to me. Such a beautiful and strong lady and a great life lived!
